One-day City & Guilds Assured Programme in the Practical Application of Earthing and Protective Bonding

This is a new course based on new guidance developed by James Eade for the new IET publication on temporary power systems for technicians. Successful candidates will receive a City & Guilds Assured digital badge. This gives employer’s concise yet detailed information about your competencies achieved on this course.

Topics include:

  1. The role earth plays in fault detection
  2. Different generator earthing systems including new inverter based systems
  3. Protection for unearthed generators
  4. Fault scenarios including fortuitous earthing
  5. Earth electrode designs and effectiveness.
  6. Mobile and transportable units with on-board generators or transformers.

One day training, £1,600 +VAT for up to 8 candidates. Up to 12 candidates can be accommodated for an additional cost.
