Electrical safety policies

All organisations should consider electrical safety in the workplace and have a management policy to suit the scale of the company and its undertakings.

We can use our significant experience to help you develop these policies and auditing measures, whether you’re a small rental operation or a major multi-site corporation.

Things venues should think about

Venues need to be aware of their duties to manage the electrical systems and infrastructure they own or are responsible for. It may all be outsourced to a Facilities Management contractor, but the contractor should be aware of what is expected of them.

Venues should also consider the interface between incoming tours or productions. Who is responsible for checking the temporary systems? Who maintains the kit on long running shows? The expectations of the venue, the rental company and production team are all often different; we can help ensure the dividing lines are clear to all.
